Theatre Odyssey 20th Annual Ten-Minute Play Festival

January 9 – 12

Theatre Odyssey’s 20th Annual Ten-Minute Play Festival, January 9 through 12, 2025, presents eight never-before-produced plays, all written by Florida playwrights. In addition, last season’s Student Ten-Minute Playwriting Festival’s Best Play is presented as a bonus play. The running time for each evening and matinee performance will be two hours including Intermission. This is an adjudicated festival and the award ceremony for the Best Play, Runner-up, and all finalists immediately follows the Sunday matinee. Here are the plays vying for Best Play and the Verna Safran Prize ($500) and Runner-up, $300

A Very Private Person by Don Salvo, Celebration
Abduction by Stephen Walkiewicz, Orlando
Feel Good, Inc. by Bernie Yanelli, Bradenton

The festival takes place at the Jane B. Cook Theatre at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts, 5555 North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.
